The Holton Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the visiting Royal Valley Panthers to 33 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now sport a 4-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry-Lecompton for a non-league contest on Thursday, February 1. Holton will play a Kaws squad coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Jefferson West (Meriden, KS). The Kaws record now stands at 9-3.
Next up, the Panthers play the Nemaha Central Thunder (Seneca, KS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Royal Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-9 season record. The Thunder go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 53-40 non-league win over Hiawatha (Hiawatha, KS).
