Houston Hawks (Big Lake, AK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Redington Huskies (Wasilla, AK), 63-53 in a league bout.

With the win, Houston upgrades its record to 3-8 on the season. The Hawks host Glennallen (Glennallen, AK) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 2-6.

Next up, the Huskies clash with the Mt. Edgecumbe Braves (Sitka, AK) in a 3A Eastern bout, on Friday, February 9. Redington will attempt to upgrade on its 5-6 season record.
