Pineywoods Community Academy Timberwolves (Lufkin, TX) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Huntington Red Devils (Huntington, TX), 55-51 in a league bout.

With the win, Pineywoods Community Academy upgrades its record to 11-17 on the season. The Timberwolves travel to Hemphill (Hemphill, TX) to play the Hornets in a 3A Region III District 21 bout on Friday, February 2. The Hornets enter the game with a record of 10-10. Hemphill lost 54-49 in their recent league game against Pollok Central (Pollok, TX)

With the defeat, Huntington moves to 9-20 on the year. The Red devils travel to Diboll (Diboll, TX) to face the Lumberjacks in a 3A Region III District 21 game on Tuesday, February 6. The Lumberjacks enter the game with a record of 10-10.
