In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Twin Valley Panthers basketball team scored a tight 41-39 triumph over the Hurley Rebels.
In their next game, the Panthers meet the Council Cobras (Council, VA) in a Black Diamond match, on Friday, February 2. Twin Valley will attempt to better on its 4-10 season record. The Cobras enter the match with a 1-12 record after their 89-32 league loss to Grundy (Grundy, VA).
With the defeat, Hurley drops to 4-14 on the season. The Rebels travel to Grundy (Grundy, VA) to clash with the Golden Wave in a Black Diamond bout on Friday, February 2. The Golden Wave go into the bout with a record of 12-5.
