Georgia High School Basketball - Jenkins County trounces Montgomery County

January 30, 2024: Millen, GA 30442

The Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) basketball crushed the visiting Montgomery County Eagles (Mt. Vernon, GA), 69-47 in Tuesday's league test.

The War Eagles (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA). The Bulldogs go into the A D2 Region 3 test with a 3-14 record. In their last test, Emanuel County Institute walloped Claxton (Claxton, GA), 65-48, in a non-league test.

The Eagles now own a 5-14 record. They play next when they host Telfair County for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Montgomery County will encounter a Trojans squad coming off a 45-42 league win over Wheeler County (Alamo, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 5-12.

Jenkins County
