With the victory, King-Chavez Community upgrades its record to 1-6 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA) to play the Redhawks in a Pioneer bout on Thursday, February 1. The Redhawks come into the bout with a record of 14-6. Mountain Empire won 72-26 in their recent league game against Monarch (San Diego, CA)

With the defeat, School for Entrepreneurship & Technology moves to 1-16 on the year. The Lions host San Diego Academy (National City, CA) to face the Cavaliers in a Pioneer game on Thursday, February 1. The Cavaliers enter the game with a record of 6-8. San Diego Academy lost 35-18 in their recent league game against Health Sciences (San Diego, CA)
