The Nyssa Bulldogs basketball team scored 64 points and held the visiting La Grande Tigers to 60 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Umatilla for a 3A Eastern Oregon contest on Friday, February 2. Nyssa will meet a Vikings team coming off a 52-50 league win over Burns (Burns, OR). The Vikings record now stands at 13-7.
The Tigers (4-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pendleton (Pendleton, OR). The Buckaroos enter the 4A Greater Oregon contest with a 8-12 record. In their last contest, Pendleton was nudged by Baker (Baker City, OR), 76-37, in a league contest.
