South Carolina High School Basketball - South Pointe topped by Lancaster

The Lancaster Bruins basketball team scored 66 points and restricted the visiting South Pointe Stallions to 56 in the Bruins league victory on Tuesday.

The Bruins now sport a 17-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Catawba Ridge for a AAAA Region 3 contest on Friday, February 2. Lancaster will battle a Copperheads team coming off a 75-45 league win over York (York, SC). The Copperheads record now stands at 20-2.

The Stallions (8-15) will now prepare for their contest against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Warriors come into the AAAA Region 3 contest with a 17-6 record. In their last contest, Indian Land prevailed over Northwestern (Rock Hill, SC), 53-50, in a league contest.
