The Lexington Wildcats basketball team scored 74 points and held the visiting River Bluff Gators to 59 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the White Knoll Timberwolves (Lexington, SC) in a AAAAA Region 4 match, on Friday, February 2. Lexington will attempt to move on its 21-2 season record. The Timberwolves enter the match with a 11-13 record after their 40-34 league loss to Dutch Fork (Irmo, SC).

With the defeat, River Bluff moves to 14-8 on the year. The Gators travel to Aiken (Aiken, SC) to meet the Fighting Green Hornets in a non-league match on Friday, February 2. The Fighting Green Hornets enter the match with a record of 13-9. Aiken won 78-61 in their recent league match against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC)
