Texas High School Basketball - Lexington can't hold off Rogers

The Rogers Eagles basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Lexington Eagles to 65 in the Eagles league victory on Tuesday.
The Eagles now sport a 7-14 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to McGregor for a 3A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, February 2. Rogers will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 49-37 league win over Troy (Troy, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 18-9.
The Eagles (11-15) will now prepare for their contest against C.H. Yoe (Cameron, TX). The Yoemen come into the 3A Region III District 19 contest with a 14-13 record.
