Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Valley knocked off by Ligonier Valley

The Ligonier Valley Rams basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Valley Vikings to 73 in the Rams league triumph on Tuesday.
The Rams now sport a 4-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Shady Side Academy for a WPIAL 3A 3 contest on Friday, February 2. Ligonier Valley will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 84-37 league win over Ligonier Valley (Ligonier, PA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-6.
The Vikings (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Apollo Ridge (Spring Church, PA). The Vikings enter the WPIAL 3A 3 contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Apollo Ridge was defeated by Derry (Derry, PA), 77-29, in a league contest.
