Lipan Indians (Lipan, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Santo Wildcats (Santo, TX), 79-42 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lipan upgrades its record to 19-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Hico (Hico, TX) to play the Tigers in a 2A Region II District 11 bout on Friday, February 2. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 10-16. Hico lost 58-17 in their recent league bout against Poolville (Poolville, TX)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Hico Tigers (Hico, TX) in a 2A Region II District 11 bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Santo will attempt to upgrade on its 8-20 season record.
