Merrimack Tomahawks (Merrimack, NH) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Londonderry Lancers (Londonderry, NH), 59-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Merrimack upgrades its record to 6-8 on the campaign. The Tomahawks host Manchester Central (Manchester, NH) to play the Little Green in a Division I bout on Friday, February 2. The Little Green come into the bout with a record of 2-9. Manchester Central lost 72-57 in their recent league bout against Pinkerton (Derry, NH)

Next up, the Lancers play the Timberlane Owls (Plaistow, NH) in a Division I bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Londonderry will attempt to upgrade on its 4-10 season record. The Owls come into the bout with a 0-13 record after their 56-39 league loss to Exeter (Exeter, NH).
