Loretto Mustangs (Loretto, TN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Summertown Eagles (Summertown, TN), 66-54 in a league bout.

With the victory, Loretto upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Lewis County (Hohenwald, TN) to play the Panthers in a 2A District 10 bout on Friday, February 2. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 5-14. Lewis County lost 87-55 in their recent league bout against Summertown (Summertown, TN)

Next up, the Eagles play the Lewis County Panthers (Hohenwald, TN) in a 2A District 10 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Summertown will attempt to upgrade on its 17-7 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 5-13 record after their 78-63 league loss to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, TN).
