Iowa High School Basketball - Pekin topped by Louisa-Muscatine

The Louisa-Muscatine Falcons basketball team scored 70 points and restricted the visiting Pekin Panthers to 62 in the Falcons league victory on Tuesday.
The Falcons now sport a 7-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mediapolis for a SEI - North contest on Friday, February 2. Louisa-Muscatine will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 73-39 non-league win over Van Buren County (Keosauqua, IA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-9.
The Panthers (9-9) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame (Burlington, IA). The Nikes come into the non-league contest with a 12-5 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame prevailed over Central Lee (Donnellson, IA), 52-34, in a league contest.
