Panama Panthers (Panama, NY) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Maple Grove Red Dragons (Bemus Point, NY), 73-60 in a league bout.

With the win, Panama upgrades its record to 12-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Brocton (Brocton, NY) to play the Bulldogs in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-3.

Next up, the Red Dragons play the Chautauqua Lake Thunderbirds (Mayville, NY) in a Section 6 Chautauqua/Cattaraugus - II West bout, on Friday, February 9. Maple Grove will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
