The South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets basketball team (Spartanburg, SC), was routed 56-27 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting McCormick Chiefs (McCormick, SC)

The Chiefs now sport a 18-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Calhoun Falls Charter for a A Region 2 battle on Thursday, February 1. McCormick will battle a Blue Flashes team coming off a 62-53 league win over Dixie (Due West, SC). The Blue Flashes record now stands at 10-8.

The Hornets (0-7) will now prepare for their battle against Thornwell (Clinton, SC). The Saints come into the A Region 2 battle with a 0-11 record. In their last battle, Thornwell was routed by Calhoun Falls Charter (Calhoun Falls, SC), 85-20, in a league battle.
