The McLeod Longhorns (McLeod, TX) basketball crushed the host Ore City Rebels (Ore City, TX), 68-35 in Tuesday's league test.
The Longhorns (30-3) will now prepare for their test against Big Sandy (Big Sandy, TX). The Wildcats go into the 2A Region III District 21 test with a 11-13 record. In their last test, Big Sandy walloped Union Grove (Gladewater, TX), 74-30, in a league test.
The Rebels now own a 7-16 record. They play next when they travel to Harleton for a 2A Region III District 21 test on Friday, February 2. Ore City will encounter a Wildcats squad coming off a 75-35 league loss to Hawkins (Hawkins, TX). The Wildcats record now stands at 7-17.
