New York High School Basketball - Midlakes ripped by Newark

The Newark Reds basketball team scored 84 points and held the visiting Midlakes Screaming Eagles to 44 in the Reds league triumph on Tuesday.
The Reds now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mynderse Academy for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest on Friday, February 2. Newark will meet a Blue Devils team coming off a 73-69 non-league win over World of Inquiry (Rochester, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 9-5.
The Screaming Eagles (4-11) will now prepare for their contest against Geneva (Geneva, NY). The Panthers enter the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Geneva triumphed over Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY), 60-52, in a league contest.
