White County Central Bears (Judsonia, AR) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Midland Mustangs (Pleasant Plains, AR), 70-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, White County Central upgrades its record to 12-19 on the campaign. The Bears host Calico Rock (Calico Rock, AR) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Pirates come into the bout with a record of 2-26.

Next up, the Mustangs play the Marvell Mustangs (Marvell, AR) in a 1A Region 5 bout, on Thursday, February 1. Midland will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record.
