The Monroe Catholic Rams (Fairbanks, AK) basketball crushed the visiting North Pole Patriots (North Pole, AK), 68-37 in Tuesday's league test.
The Rams (11-4) will now prepare for their test against Lathrop (Fairbanks, AK). The Malemutes go into the 4A Mid Alaska test with a 6-9 record. In their last test, Lathrop was trounced by Service (Anchorage, AK), 72-34, in a non-league test.
The Patriots now own a 4-8 record. They play next when they travel to Bethel for a non-league test on Thursday, February 1. North Pole will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 63-51 league loss to Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK). The Warriors record now stands at 6-6.
