Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Montgomery Cougars (Skillman, NJ), 62-48 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rutgers Prep upgrades its record to 12-5 on the season. The Argonauts host Hillsborough (Hillsborough, NJ) to play the Raiders in a Skyland - Delaware bout on Thursday, February 1. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 11-5. Hillsborough won 57-47 in their recent non-league bout against The Pingry School (Martinsville, NJ)

Next up, the Cougars play the Somerville Pioneers (Somerville, NJ) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 1. Montgomery will attempt to upgrade on its 14-2 season record.
