In Tuesday's league outing, the Moon Area Tigers (Moon Township, PA) basketball squad beat the visiting North Hills Indians (Pittsburgh, PA), by a count of 71-54.

The Tigers (14-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chartiers Valley (Bridgeville, PA). The Colts come into the WPIAL 5A 4 bout with a 7-9 record. In their last bout, Chartiers Valley toppled South Fayette (McDonald, PA), 64-53, in a league bout.

Next up, the Indians play the West Allegheny Indians (Imperial, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 4 bout, on Friday, February 2. North Hills will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 9-7 record after their 83-58 league loss to Mars (Mars, PA).
