Piedmont Wildcats (Piedmont, OK) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Mustang Broncos (Mustang, OK), 65-50 in a league bout.

With the win, Piedmont upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season. The Wildcats host Norman North (Norman, OK) to clash with the Timberwolves in a 6A District 1 bout on Friday, February 2. The Timberwolves go into the bout with a record of 8-10. Norman North lost 47-43 in their recent league bout against Edmond North (Edmond, OK)

Next up, the Broncos clash with the Edmond North Huskies (Edmond, OK) in a 6A District 1 bout, on Friday, February 2. Mustang will attempt to upgrade on its 14-6 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 47-43 league win over Norman North (Norman, OK).
