In Tuesday's league outing, the Neshannock Lancers (New Castle, PA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Riverside Panthers (Ellwood City, PA), by a count of 73-48.

The Lancers (15-3) will now prepare for their outing against New Brighton (New Brighton, PA). The Lions go into the WPIAL 3A 1 outing with a 3-14 record. In their last outing, New Brighton was crushed by Ellwood City (Ellwood City, PA), 67-31, in a league outing.

The Panthers now hold a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Mohawk Area for a WPIAL 3A 1 outing on Friday, February 2. Riverside will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 56-51 league win over Beaver Falls (Beaver Falls, PA). The Warriors record now stands at 13-6.
