Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR) and the host Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR), witnessed North Marion's basketball squad topple Sweet Home by a margin of 65-46.

The Huskies (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Newport (Newport, OR). The Cubs go into the 4A Oregon West test with a 9-6 record. In their last test, Newport went down by Cascade (Turner, OR), 70-32, in a league test.

The Huskies now own a 3-15 record. They play next when they travel to Stayton for a 4A Oregon West test on Thursday, February 1. Sweet Home will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 61-36 league loss to Philomath (Philomath, OR). The Eagles record now stands at 8-8.
