North Point Grizzlies (Wentzville, MO) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting St. Charles Pirates (St. Charles, MO), 42-32 in a non-league bout.

The Grizzlies (5-12) will now prepare for their test against Orchard Farm (St. Charles, MO). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 13-4 record. In their last test, Orchard Farm notched a victory over Winfield (Winfield, MO), 51-37, in a league test.

The Pirates now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to St. Charles West for a Gateway - North test on Friday, February 2. St. Charles will encounter a Warriors squad coming off a 67-38 league win over Winfield (Winfield, MO). The Warriors record now stands at 10-6.
