The Rock Valley Rockets (Rock Valley, IA) basketball nipped the visiting Okoboji Pioneers (Milford, IA), 51-44 in Tuesday's league test.

The Rockets (7-8) will now prepare for their test against George-Little Rock (George, IA). The Mustangs go into the Siouxland test with a 11-5 record. In their last test, George-Little Rock got by Hills-Beaver Creek (Hills, MN), 53-45, in a non-league test.

The Pioneers now own a 4-14 record. They play next when they host Central Lyon for a Siouxland test on Thursday, February 1. Okoboji will encounter a Lions squad coming off a 72-40 league loss to Sioux Center (Sioux Center, IA). The Lions record now stands at 10-7.
