Texas High School Basketball - Rice Consolidated thwarts Palacios

The Rice Consolidated Raiders (Altair, TX) basketball knocked off the visiting Palacios Sharks (Palacios, TX), 50-40 in Tuesday's league test.
The Raiders (22-8) will now prepare for their test against Edna (Edna, TX). The Cowboys go into the 3A Region IV District 25 test with a 11-8 record. In their last test, Edna notched a victory over Industrial (Vanderbilt, TX), 70-52, in a league test.
The Sharks now own a 9-22 record. They play next when they host Yoakum for a 3A Region IV District 25 test on Friday, February 2. Palacios will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 44-37 league win over Tidehaven (El Maton, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 17-12.
