Pataula Charter Academy Panthers (Edison, GA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Stewart County Royal Knights (Lumpkin, GA), 75-47 in a league bout.

With the win, Pataula Charter Academy upgrades its record to 6-13 on the season. The Panthers travel to Mitchell County (Camilla, GA) to clash with the Eagles in a A D2 Region 1 bout on Thursday, February 1. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Mitchell County won 80-69 in their recent league bout against Terrell County (Dawson, GA)

Next up, the Royal Knights clash with the Calhoun County Cougars (Edison, GA) in a A D2 Region 1 bout, on Friday, February 2. Stewart County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 18-4 record after their 84-53 league win over Seminole County (Donalsonville, GA).
