The Piggott Mohawks basketball team (Piggott, AR), was routed 67-35 in Tuesday's league battle with the host Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR)
The Colts now sport a 21-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Corning for a 3A Region 3 battle on Wednesday, January 31. Rivercrest will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 71-65 league win over Manila (Manila, AR). The Bobcats record now stands at 16-9.
The Mohawks (1-18) will now prepare for their battle against Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Seminoles come into the 3A Region 3 battle with a 15-12 record. In their last battle, Osceola trounced Lee (Marianna, AR), 88-58, in a non-league battle.
