The Romeoville Spartans basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Plainfield Central Wildcats to 38 in the Spartans league victory on Tuesday.

The Spartans now sport a 17-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Joliet West for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Friday, February 2. Romeoville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 67-41 league win over Plainfield South (Plainfield, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 15-9.

The Wildcats (8-18) will now prepare for their contest against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL). The Steelmen come into the SouthWest Prairie contest with a 16-9 record. In their last contest, Joliet Central triumphed over Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 57-50, in a league contest.
