The Prairie View Buffalos basketball team (La Cygne, KS), was overwhelmed 73-17 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Wellsville Eagles (Wellsville, KS)
The Eagles now possess a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Osawatomie for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Wellsville will battle a Trojans team coming off a 70-39 non-league loss to Baldwin (Baldwin, KS). The Trojans record now stands at 6-7.
The Buffalos (2-10) will now prepare for their battle against Santa Fe Trail (Carbondale, KS). The Chargers come into the non-league battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Santa Fe Trail trounced Iola (Iola, KS), 63-61, in a non-league battle.
