Washington-Marion Charging Indians (Lake Charles, LA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Rayne Wolves (Rayne, LA), 58-54 in a league bout.
With the win, Washington-Marion upgrades its record to 13-12 on the season. The Charging Indians host LaGrange (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Gators in a 4A District 3 bout on Friday, February 2. The Gators go into the bout with a record of 2-18.
Next up, the Wolves play the Leesville Wampus Cats (Leesville, LA) in a 4A District 3 bout, on Friday, February 2. Rayne will attempt to upgrade on its 10-17 season record. The Wampus Cats go into the bout with a 13-11 record after their 55-45 league win over Eunice (Eunice, LA).
