In Tuesday's league outing, the San Elizario Eagles (San Elizario, TX) basketball squad beat the host Riverside Rangers (El Paso, TX), by a margin of 47-37.
The Eagles (16-13) will now prepare for their outing against Mountain View (El Paso, TX). The Lobos go into the 4A Region I District 2 outing with a 8-18 record. In their last outing, Mountain View defeated Fabens (Fabens, TX), 66-35, in a league outing.
The Rangers now own a 9-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Clint for a 4A Region I District 2 match on Friday, February 2. Riverside will meet a Lions team coming off a 54-27 non-league win over Patterson Institute (El Paso, TX). The Lions record now stands at 3-17.
