In Tuesday's league outing, the Sheldon Irish (Eugene, OR) basketball squad edged the visiting Roseburg Indians (Roseburg, OR), by a margin of 79-76.
The Irish (10-8) will now prepare for their outing against South Medford (Medford, OR). The Panthers go into the 6A Southwest outing with a 12-6 record. In their last outing, South Medford held off South Eugene (Eugene, OR), 70-60, in a league outing.
The Indians now own a 11-6 record. They play next when they travel to Churchill for a non-league outing on Thursday, February 1. Roseburg will clash with a Lancers squad coming off a 60-41 league loss to Crater (Central Point, OR). The Lancers record now stands at 5-12.
