Sanford Warriors (Hockessin, DE) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Tower Hill Hillers (Wilmington, DE), 69-56 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sanford upgrades its record to 10-3 on the campaign. The Warriors host Howard (Wilmington, DE) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 1. The Wildcats come into the bout with a record of 9-2. Howard won 78-17 in their recent league bout against DuPont (Wilmington, DE)

Next up, the Hillers play the Caravel Buccaneers (Bear, DE) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Tower Hill will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 7-5 record after their 82-57 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD).
