In Tuesday's non-league match, the visiting Searsport Vikings basketball team scored a tight 48-43 triumph over the Shead Tigers.
In their next game, the Vikings meet the Piscataquis Pirates (Guilford, ME) in a non-league match, on Saturday, February 3. Searsport will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Pirates enter the match with a 10-6 record after their 39-38 league win over Dexter (Dexter, ME).
With the defeat, Shead moves to 5-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to East Grand (Dansforth, ME) to meet the Vikings in a D North match on Wednesday, January 31. The Vikings enter the match with a record of 1-15. East Grand lost 44-31 in their recent league match against Van Buren (Van Buren, ME)
