The Solon Springs Eagles basketball team scored 94 points and held the host Washburn Castle Guards to 64 in the Eagles league triumph on Tuesday.

The Eagles now sport a 15-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Butternut for a Northern Lights contest on Friday, February 2. Solon Springs will meet a Midgets team coming off a 64-45 league loss to Mercer (Mercer, WI). The Midgets record now stands at 0-16.

The Castle Guards (13-3) will now prepare for their contest against South Shore (Port Wing, WI). The Cardinals enter the Northern Lights contest with a 4-12 record. In their last contest, South Shore was routed by Bayfield (Bayfield, WI), 90-37, in a league contest.
