With the victory, Valwood improves its record to 10-9 on the campaign. The Valiants host Terrell Academy (Dawson, GA) to play the Eagles in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 challenge on Friday, February 2. The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 8-10. Terrell Academy lost 57-26 in their recent league challenge against Brookwood (Thomasville, GA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Deerfield-Windsor Knights (Albany, GA) in a GIAA AAAA/AAA District 3 challenge, on Friday, February 2. Tiftarea Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 14-9 record after their 46-34 league loss to Brookwood (Thomasville, GA).
