The Gadsden Panthers basketball team (Anthony, NM), was overwhelmed 65-17 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM)
The Hawks now possess a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Centennial will confront a Knights team coming off a 61-34 non-league win over Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Knights record now stands at 10-0.
The Panthers (0-5) will now prepare for their battle against Mayfield (Las Cruces, NM). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 2-4 record. In their last battle, Mayfield was overwhelmed by Alamogordo (Alamogordo, NM), 54-48, in a non-league battle.
