Mead Panthers (Spokane, WA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Central Valley Bears (Spokane Valley, WA), 58-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mead upgrades its record to 14-8 on the season. The Panthers host Medical Lake (Medical Lake, WA) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 31. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 0-1.

Next up, the Bears clash with the Lewis & Clark Tigers (Spokane, WA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Central Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 11-7 record after their 52-37 non-league win over Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA).
