With the win, Gainesville upgrades its record to 13-2 on the season. The Hurricanes travel to Eastside (Gainesville, FL) to clash with the Rams in a non-league bout on Friday, February 2. The Rams go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Eastside won 48-42 in their recent non-league bout against North Marion (Citra, FL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Buchholz Bobcats (Gainesville, FL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 2. Newberry will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Bobcats go into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 58-10 non-league win over Santa Fe (Alachua, FL).
