The Herndon Hornets basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Washington-Liberty Generals to 33 in the Hornets non-league triumph on Tuesday.

The Hornets now sport a 3-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host George C. Marshall for a non-league contest on Friday, February 2. Herndon will battle a Statesmen team coming off a 48-45 non-league loss to McLean (McLean, VA). The Statesmen record now stands at 4-8.

The Generals (6-9) will now prepare for their contest against Langley (McLean, VA). The Saxons enter the non-league contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Langley ran past George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA), 45-41, in a non-league contest.
