The Washingtonville Wizards basketball team scored 56 points and restricted the host Monroe-Woodbury Crusaders to 28 in the Wizards non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Wizards now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Poughkeepsie for a non-league contest on Wednesday, January 31. Washingtonville will battle a Pioneers team coming off a 51-48 non-league win over Washingtonville (Washingtonville, NY). The Pioneers record now stands at 1-0.
The Crusaders (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Middletown (Middletown, NY). The Middie Bears come into the non-league contest with a 8-3 record. In their last contest, Middletown triumphed over Warwick (Warwick, NY), 56-38, in a non-league contest.
