The St. Pius X Sartans (Albuquerque, NM) basketball crushed the visiting Valencia Jaguars (Los Lunas, NM), 56-25 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Sartans (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Highland (Albuquerque, NM). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 9-7 record. In their last test, Highland walloped Valencia (Los Lunas, NM), 65-28, in a non-league test.
The Jaguars now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Highland for a non-league test on Friday, February 2. Valencia will encounter a Hornets squad coming off a 67-66 non-league win over Grants (Grants, NM). The Hornets record now stands at 8-7.
