In Tuesday's league outing, the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) basketball squad beat the host Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA), by a count of 56-36.
The Chargers (18-4) will now prepare for their outing against Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Red Jackets go into the AA Region 2 outing with a 7-15 record. In their last outing, Jordan defeated Rutland (Macon, GA), 62-27, in a league outing.
The Gryphons now hold a 9-10 record. They play next when they travel to Rutland for a AA Region 2 outing on Friday, February 2. Academy for Classical Education will clash with a Hurricanes squad coming off a 62-27 league loss to Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-20.
