The Comets now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springport for a non-league battle on Friday, February 2. Hanover-Horton will confront a Spartans team coming off a 44-41 league win over Reading (Reading, MI). The Spartans record now stands at 10-3.

The Panthers (3-11) will now prepare for their battle against Jonesville (Jonesville, MI). The Comets come into the Cascades battle with a 8-5 record. In their last battle, Jonesville was nudged by Columbia Central (Brooklyn, MI), 49-33, in a league battle.
