The Adrian/Ellsworth Dragons (Adrian, MN) basketball nipped the visiting Hills-Beaver Creek Patriots (Hills, MN), 40-34 in Tuesday's league test.

The Dragons (12-8) will now prepare for their test against Edgerton (Edgerton, MN). The Flying Dutchmen go into the A Section 3 test with a 14-6 record. In their last test, Edgerton got by Red Rock Central (Lamberton, MN), 74-25, in a league test.

The Patriots now own a 11-8 record. They play next when they host Heron Lake-Okabena/Fulda for a A Section 3 test on Thursday, February 1. Hills-Beaver Creek will encounter a Coyotes squad coming off a 49-29 non-league loss to Mountain Lake/Comfrey (Mountain Lake, MN). The Coyotes record now stands at 0-20.
