The AHSTW Vikings basketball team (Avoca, IA), was toppled 41-31 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the visiting St. Albert Falcons (Council Bluffs, IA)
The Falcons now possess a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Glenwood for a Hawkeye Ten battle on Thursday, February 1. St. Albert will confront a Rams team coming off a 47-37 league win over Clarinda (Clarinda, IA). The Rams record now stands at 11-5.
The Vikings (10-6) will now prepare for their battle against Riverside (Oakland, IA). The Bulldogs come into the Western Iowa battle with a 9-8 record. In their last battle, Riverside was toppled by Treynor (Treynor, IA), 54-28, in a league battle.
